David Tinsley 

UK Economist 


David Tinsley is a UK Economist at National Australia Bank in
London. He is responsible for analysing and forecasting developments in the UK economy, including the future path of interest rates and the outlook for growth. He regularly gives presentations on the economy and publishes research reports, as well as giving extensive media interviews.

Prior to joining the National Australia Bank he spent six years at the Bank of England, forecasting developments in the UK and the European economies as well as being a specialist on the UK labour market. He has also spent time working in economic consultancy, working on a wide range of macro and micro economic issues, and in Government.

David was educated at Cambridge University, from where he holds a first class honours degree in economics, as well as a Masters of Philosophy.
